Homeless Veterans Dropped 12% in 2011
So often, we hear about too many government programs that aren’t working. This article in the Denver Post is a promising report on the number of homeless veterans in America. It attributes the success to programs implemented by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“Homelessness among military veterans dropped nearly 12 percent on a typical night from January 2010 to January 2011, according to the results of a national report announced today by the Departments of Veterans Affairs andUrban Development.”
